The last time I took pictures of Megan she was pregnant and only three days away from having Rivers. Well, Rivers is here now and cuter than ever!

I don’t normally do family sessions but when they are great friends with super cute babies, well then, that’s when my rules go out the window.

Here is Andrew, Megan and super-cute-lover-of-paul-frank Rivers.

I love all the Paul Frank.

San Diego really has the most perfect light!

Going Bananas!

/ Personal

This week, I’m a mess. This month, I’m a mess. This is me, trying to catch up from two weddings this past weekend. And in heat that is way past Vegas heat. Vegas heat is having a heater blow 120 degree heat on your face all day long. So, this weekend was worse than that.

This weekend was bananas! This month is bananas! It’s all bananas!

Speaking of…

There are many types of people in this world. And I believe these types can be further sub-categorized into 2 types. Those who eat ripe bananas (you know, the brown ones) and those who eat green bananas (you know, the regular ones, the eatable ones).

I have to buy bananas green, I mean greeeeeeeen all the way. And they’re only allowed to sit for three days tops before they are no longer eatable. Once they have any brown coloration, even in the slightest amount, I can not stomach them. The smell, the sight, the texture… all of it makes me sick.

I don’t really get it either, ripe fruit is supposed to be the best. It’s sweeter, softer, juicier, and just tastier. Why are bananas the exception?

And why am I even talking about bananas?

I don’t know! I just shot two weddings in heat that is not meant for human survival, cut me some slack 😉

What sub-category do you fit in? Are you a weird-ripe-banana-eating-person or are you a normal-green-banana-eating-person?

It’s not everyday that I get to be a part of a beautiful wedding, and it’s not everyday that I get to hang out with one of the most amazing photographers I know.  Part of the fun of photographing weddings is that I get to hang out with some fabulous people. And Logan, well, he is beyond fabulous. Last month I had the opportunity to second shoot for Logan and even though it was our first time shooting a wedding together, we somehow just clicked. Kind of like Batman & Robin, like Kobe & Shaq (without the drama), like Joey & Chandler… yeah, you get the point.

Katy & Caleb’s wedding was held at a beautiful club house in Corona, Ca. They are young, full of hope, happiness, and complete dedication to each other. I was extremely happy to spend the day with them and seriously, the day was perfect and beyond fun!

Thank you Logan for inviting me to hang out with you! And thank you Katy & Caleb, you two are gorgeous inside and out and your love is so pure I could feel it the whole day!

I love Katy’s smile. Just looking at her smile, makes me smile. big! Katy’s make up by Missy Baitx

These ladies were so fun! They smiled and laughed all day long. And really, they made my day fun too.

So sweet!

I believe this was their third kiss. The officiant made them kiss and re-kiss :)

I love the background and the colors of this image so much.

Really? Does it get any better than this?

Caleb’s Dad was having a blast on the dance floor. A huge shout out to the Dj Doug Dill of All the Best Tunes Dj Service. He  did an amazing job and he had everyone out of their seats dancing and having a blast!

I happened to catch this…. one of my favorite from the night :)
