My week in love has turned into a month and a half in love. You know how it gets, life gets in the way and then your daily blogging turns into weekly and then monthly, and then you have to shake yourself and slap yourself a couple of times to get your butt back in gear… what? You don’t shake and slap yourself? Don’t knock it till you try it.
Ok, back to the point, before I have to shake and slap myself again:
How darn cute is this reusable water bottle? Too darn cute if you ask me. But if you ask my husband, he would say that I have too many reusable water bottles, but can one really have too many?
You can get this too darn cute water bottle at FredFlare.com
OH! Pomegranates! Right next to cherries, these are my favoritest fruit of all favorites. And Pinkberry has these delicious seeds back for the fall/winter! That calls for a trip to Pinkberry for that reason alone.
I am so in love with crochet hats and scarves and these hats take the cake. Cute, retro, and affordable (kind of affordable but worth it for quality) who can resist… and just to let you all know, I am currently accepting christmas and birthday gifts early this year 😉
I will be the first one to admit that I was one of those people who vowed to NEVER be caught dead in a pair of uggs and you would’ve had to kill me for me to wear them in public. Boy, has my tune changed. I think it might have been the pillowy-soft white stuff that made my feet feel snuggled and loved that made me see the light… but talk about true love and yes, I LOVE MY UGGS!
sidenote: Lola isn’t really mean, she just looks mean because I made her model without the promise of a treat. I think she’ll thank me later when she’s famous
My new baby! The lovely and oh so dreamy 50mm 1.2. Talk about true love! But to be honest with you, I’m a little mad at it. It has made me so lazy, I leave it on my camera for an entire shoot thus, neglecting my other lenses.
But what my camera wants, my camera gets.
Once you go 50, you never go back.
The 50 is the new black.
Annnd, I’ll end my lameness at that.
Introducing Keith! One of my students and of course one of my favorite people.
Keith, I wish you well in your acting & singing career. I know you are going to exceed your wildest dreams!
Apparently I like the serious, look to the side look
I am luuuving the photography community! There are so many people willing to help and share their knowledge and I feel so blessed to be a part of this profession and family. Last week I attended my first OC Photog Shootout and the theme was Trash the Dress! But of course we had the chance to take some traditional photos first and then the fun began with each “bride” trashing their dresses… sooo much fun without the worry of trying to keep the dress clean. And the models, they were nothing short of F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!!!!
Here are a few of my shots: (you might notice that a whole lot of my shots are not actually trashing the dress shots, don’t really know why 😉 )
And a HUGE thank you goes out to the following people for making it all go down!
Joe Photo: Special Guest Speaker
Bella Collina: venue
Kim Bragalone: makeup
Bows-n-Berries Hairbands: hair pieces
Jay Jensen Floral Design: Florist
Avery J Productions: video
The Models: Lindsey Addie, Stevie, Joe, Tiffany, Micah, Chelsea, Shannon, and Megan
There are a few things I need to explain, I may be confusing some people by the name on some of my stuff that I post or send out- I am in the process of changing my business name and I’ll definitely expand on how and why and all that good stuff at a later date and plus I don’t want to steal the thunder away from the 2009 Holiday Collection, that just wouldn’t be fair 😉
So without further adieu:
(I will only be posting the front of most cards unless there are more details within the card then I’ll post the inside or backside as well)
